Join us for an intimate evening at the Arboretum as we welcome our first Notable Speaker of the year, Lindsey Taylor—Artist, Writer, Gardener, and Photographer. Lindsey will inspire the creative genius within us with a beautiful presentation based on her new book, 'Art in Flower: Finding Inspiration in Art and Nature,' which introduces readers to a unique practice that combines art and flowers, ultimately offering a new way to look at the natural world.
Lindsey Taylor is the founder of Lindsey Taylor Design, which creates gardens and landscapes for public and private clients throughout the Northeast. Taylor is a former garden editor at Martha Stewart Living, Domino, and Garden Design magazines, and her work has appeared in The New York Times, T Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and Gardenista. For nearly a decade, she produced, wrote, and styled the Journal’s well-loved Flower School column in its Off Duty section.
Lindsey’s book “Art in Flower” will be available for purchase. Book signing to follow the presentation.
