Martin Sexton at SOPAC

Martin Sexton returns to SOPAC with what Rolling Stone calls his “soul-marinated voice,” acoustic guitar, and a suitcase full of heartfelt songs. The 2023 Tour takes Sexton across North America in support of his latest EP 2020 Vision (produced by 3-time Grammy nominee John Alagia), as well as reinventing his own classics.

A Syracuse, NY native, Sexton got his start singing in the streets and subways of Boston in the early 90s. Still fiercely independent and headlining venues from The Filmore to Carnegie Hall, Sexton has influenced a generation of contemporary artists, and his songs have appeared in television series such as Scrubs, Parenthood, Masters of Sex, Sprung, and in numerous films. Despite all his success, it’s his incendiary live shows, honest lyrics, and vocal prowess that keep fans coming back for a new experience every time.
