We will begin with a self-guided tour of the Atlantic County Veterans Museum, opened in 2016. The structure was originally built in 1832 as the home of Daniel Estell, one of the first owners and operators of the nearby Estell Glassworks. The museum now features military exhibits and artifacts dating from the American Revolution to the present. We will also visit several nearby burial grounds that include veterans of the American Revolution. Pack a lunch, dress for the weather and bring money for donations to the museum if you wish. Bug spray with DEET is recommended and be prepared to walk on uneven ground.
