Featured Rescue: Jethro Passionate Curmudgeon Senior Dachshund / Mini Pinscher at Wag on Inn Rescue

**THIS IS A POST HIGHLIGHTING A FEATURED RESCUE ANIMAL WHO NEEDS A LOVING HOME!**

Meet Jethro - the Passionate Curmudgeon dachshund/min pin mix (best guess) who is desperately looking for his person! Jethro is in a loving foster home in NJ.

Jethro is fiercely loyal, utterly devoted, will follow you around all day if you let him! This boy is o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with his person! He is a definite confidence booster! Jethro loves his person so much that he wants them all to himself.

We suspect Jethro needs a quieter home and environment ideally with one person and not a lot of guests. Jethro loves so deeply he can get jealous of his person's husband or wife and can be snappy when he feels threatened. He would do best with a single person or a couple who is used to a little "doxie-tude."
Jethro is dog friendly and does well with cats mostly but will chase them sometimes (does not hurt them). He is housebroken. He loves balls and plush toys and loves to carry a plush toy around in his mouth! Sometimes he gets a little jealous of the other dogs but at most he gives a little grumble to protest sharing mom's attention.

Jethro is about 12 years old, fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Jethro has a little arthritis from an old hip injury. He has an early stage heart murmur which is typical at his age but no medications are needed at this time. Jethro recently developed cataracts but he still sees well and doesn't show any sign of slowing down yet.
