From its adverse effect on our wildlife and ecosystems to our energy consumption, to our dark sky heritage, personal safety, and overall human health, the impact of light pollution can seem subtle but in fact, is very significant. Please join Jim Webster from the Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area, Dark Sky Advocate and SciStarter Ambassador to learn about the impact of light pollution on our planet and yourself.
