LIC Springs! Returns with Record 120+ Businesses for the 10th Anniversary

As one of Long Island City Partnership’s (LICP) signature annual events, LIC Springs! will return to Queens for its 10th year, featuring live music, dance, performances, fitness classes, pop-up activities, outdoor dining and other entertainment and activations for all. There are over 120 local businesses participating, with performances including Irish step, break and flamingo dancing, LEGO robotic coding, massages, along with experiences such as golf, climbing, soccer, pottery throwing demos and outdoor dining. Kids can even make their own slime and there are dog-friendly experiences throughout.
As one of the most dog-friendly neighborhoods in NYC, LIC Springs! will feature a bevy of canine-friendly activities, including dog treats, puzzles and other enrichment games. There are several businesses that have participated in LIC Springs! since the beginning including BrickHouse Ceramic Art Center, Blend, Hunters Point Park Conservancy, Madera Cuban Grill, Manducatis Rustica and Woodbines Craft Kitchen. Other marquee participants include the Queens World Film Festival, MoMA PS1, Socceroof LIC, Sweet Chick, R40, The Cliffs at LIC, The Noguchi Museum and Casa Lola. Members of the press are encouraged to arrive between 12:45 to 1 p.m. for welcome remarks from elected officials and special guests. There will be lively performances on the mainstage before and after this time to create a colorful photo op.

Vernon Boulevard will be closed to traffic between 46th and 50th avenues.
