April 26, 2024
The Mullica River region is rich in both history and nature. Our explorations will take us from the mouth to the headwaters of the river that was referred to by the British during the American Revolution as a “nest of rebel pirates.” We will visit churches, graveyards, battle monuments and ruins of old company towns. Some walking on uneven ground will be required at some sites. Please pack a lunch and dress for the weather.
