Blueberry Superfood Matcha Smoothie Recipe


Blueberries are Festhund’s favorite super fruit. Not only are blueberries a delicious source of fiber, but they are packed with antioxidants and vitamins – including vitamin A & vitamin C.

Matcha is also high in antioxidants and packed with vitamins, so this combo makes for a delicious and highly nutritious treat!

*Please Note: Matcha is a green tea and does contain more caffeine than regular green tea, but a little less than a cup of coffee!

Now let’s gather the ingredients and make a Blueberry Superfood Matcha Smoothie!


Ingredients for one serving:

½ cup of almond milk
1/3 cup of frozen blueberries
½ a banana
1 teaspoon matcha
1 teaspoon - 1 tbsp. syrup* or sweetener (adjust amount to your taste)
*Walden Farms Sugar Free Blueberry Syrup, honey, agave, Cary’s Sugar Free Maple Syrup, or other syrup
2 ice cubes


Blend all ingredients in a NutriBullet or a blender about 20 seconds or until smooth

This simple recipe is delicious as is, however, here are some optional add-in ideas:

- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- a handful of spinach
- a scoop of protein powder or collagen powder
- ¼ cup – ½ cup of plain fat free Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup of oats
